BSIX STARS IN JUNIOR APPRENTICE

The first episode of BBC One's Junior Apprentice programme featured BSix. The programme featured the College , showing the front of the building to full effect and gave staff and students an unusual view of their College – from a helicopter!

The action then shifted to the BSix Canteen where the show's star, Lord Sugar of Clapton explained the choice of location – he had attended the College when it had been Brooke House School. Brooke House in Clapton, which is the ward in which the College is located, was where it all started for Alan Sugar. He explained that he started his first business at the school in the place which is now the College's car park.

The Young Apprentices then went off to begin their first task – organising and preparing to sell cheese.

"We are so pleased that the BBC chose our buildings to launch the first Junior Apprentice", say's BSix's Principal, Ken Warman. "We are even more pleased that they chose to show a national audience our modern, well-maintained facilities. The College looked great".

This appearance on national TV for BSix comes on the back of a series of acknowledgements of the College's achievements including an LSIS award, two successful Ofsted visits and a glowing report from Investors in People.
