Student Inspectors visit Blenheim Palace (Oxford) to present at Student Union Conference
Tsitsi Mujuru, Solafa Khairi and Asif Seedat wowed an audience of over 150 students from Oxford Cherwell Valley at a conference held in the plush surroundings of Blenheim Palace.
They gave a presentation on their role during our Student Led Inspection that took place in March. The inspection included lesson observations, analysing data, leading meetings, report writing and giving feedback not to mention presenting to Senior Management, Governors and now at National conferences!
After huge applause, a teacher in the audience said they were in 'awe' of our students and that the Learning Advocacy and Student Inspection programme was a 'huge' initiative.
Sally Dicketts, Principal and Chief Executive of Cherwell Valley expressed her admiration and commented on how well Tsitsi, Solafa and Asif presented.
While reflecting on their visit to Oxford our students said they were surprised at the reaction they received from both the Oxford students and staff. Solafa said, 'it's becoming the norm for us so we sometimes forget what a big deal it is'.
