Operation Black Vote
The Operation Black Vote event took place on Tuesday 11th October.
The event gave our students an insight into different career options and areas of civic life which they may have not considered . Speakers included:

Simon Woolley, Operation Black Vote Director
Inspirational speaker
Jacob Sakil, Former Young Mayor of Lewisham
The event included question and answers with the audience and panel members and a competition with prizes. Student feedback was very positive, they found it informative and inspirational.
One student commented: "I think everything was amazing … could we have more of these speeches – thanks for everything".
The same student added: "I learnt that nothing in life is impossible. All you need to do is believe in yourself and believe that you will succeed".
