BSix shortlisted for 3 more awards

"The Times Educational Supplement" (TES), the weekly newspaper for all schools and college staff, has just published the lists of colleges nominated for its Star Awards. BSix has been shortlisted for three awards.

The College has been shortlisted, along with five other colleges, for:

  • Provider of the Year
  • Outstanding innovation in teaching, learning and training
  • Outstanding communications/marketing team

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on November 11th in London.

Rob Wye, chief executive of the Learning and Skills Improvement Service, said: "Tremendous work is being undertaken day in day out across the sector to drive improvement in learning and skills and so make life better for learners." We should celebrate all that is going on and thank all those unsung heroes and heroines who help us to realise our shared objective of continuous improvement in all that we do."

Rebekah Harris, Head of External Relations, says: " We are absolutely thrilled to have achieved this success. We see awards as tributes to the hard work, dedication and talents of our students and staff."
