AS Level Drama and Theatre Studies
‘Drama’ is the word used to refer to written plays intended for performance, as well as to any original work devised in workshop conditions and material such as photos, poetry and short stories. This course enables you to extend your ability to create drama and theatre either in a performing or production role. You will write about drama and develop your skills in critical analysis. The course will involve taking part in productions as well as studying plays, playwrights and theatre practitioners. You will also be required to attend professional theatre visits as part of the course.
