First Diploma in Applied Science (Level 2)
This course will provide you with a real alternative to studying GCSEs. It offers a different progression route to further education and ultimately university. During the year you will study a mixture of core and specialist units. The course covers the areas of Chemistry, Physics and Biology and maintains a strong applied focus. Success in the course depends on your completion of assignments. The key benefit of the BTEC First Diploma is that each assignment completed will be graded shortly after completion. It will then be possible for you to monitor your own progress. You will be supported by your teacher throughout the course. Targets will be set and suggestions made on how to improve your grades.
