Introductory Diploma in Health & Social Care (Level 1)
On this course you will cover all aspects of health and social care for a variety of age groups. You will be encouraged to develop the personal skills and qualities you need for work in a health and social care setting. You will also have the opportunity to investigate what professional health care workers do (e.g. nurses, paramedics, social workers and child carers). You will study eight units: starting work in health and social care, working in health and social care, developing skills in health and social care, personal effectiveness, social responsibility at work, looking after children, images of people and exploring local services.
