National Diploma in Health and Social Care (Level 3)
On this two year course you will be studying all aspects of health and care for a variety of age groups. You will be looking at both physical and psychological health. You will also have the opportunity to investigate what professional healthcare workers do (e.g. nurses, paramedics, social workers and child carers). You will be studying eighteen units over the two years. There are eleven core units and seven specialist units, which include: developing effective communication in health and social care, sociological and psychological perspectives for health and social care, fundamentals of anatomy and physiology for health and social care and nutrition for health and social care.
