National Diploma in Performing Arts (Level 3)
This course offers a unique opportunity for aspiring young performers to broaden, develop and refine performance skills. A National Diploma in Performing Arts aims to prepare you for work in the industry and will also help you to gain access to higher education courses. Students may choose to specialise on this course and follow either a dance or a drama strand. You will be involved in creating your own professional drama or dance company which will put on shows in our state of the art theatre, and become part of a touring company in local schools. You will also see many professional performances and take part in Arts-related trips. You will be required to complete 12 specialist units and six core units over a two year period. The specialist unit offer will vary depending on whether you are accepted onto the Dance or the Drama strand of the course.
