Overview
This is an ideal course for those studying A Levels and is equivalent to one A Level in terms of UCAS points. It will provide you with a valuable insight into the music industry, teaching you comprehensive music technology skills as well as providing you with the opportunity to gain practical experience of working in the BSix state of the art recording studio. You will complete six units over a two year period. These will involve: exploring and experimenting with music technology, using resources at your disposal, learning about software applications and allied technology through the creation of music, composing, arranging and recording pieces of music and providing evidence of understanding the equipment used through practical demonstrations and written assessments.
