Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their best?
BSix is looking for graduates who are enthusiastic, tenacious and persistent and are passionately interested in the educational achievement of our students.
This post is an essential part of the College’s strategy to raise achievement and provide support for students. You will be reporting to the Senior Tutor for the relevant department and working closely with the tutors, teachers, parents and external agencies, to support, monitor and track students’ academic performance, including their attendance and punctuality, and to ensure they have a positive experience while at BSix. The Student Achievement Officer will need to plan and deliver one-to-one, small group and in-class support to students in the form of (i) subject-specific guidance and (ii) the development of appropriate study skills. This work will form a major part of how we support and measure student progress across our curriculum, and offers huge scope for candidates interested in developing their longer term prospects to work within education.
