One year later after successfully completing his ESOL course, Arold was able to progress to a course that fulfilled his passion in regard to IT and new technologies. He decided to study ICT level 2 and passed with a Distinction grade!

Arold is now in his first year of Level 3 ICT and aspires to be a game designer, apps

He also demonstrates one of the fantatsic and unique aspects of BSix' provision which enables stduents to start at the right entry level depending on their background and previous results and how they are then supported to progress through the levels and ultimately onto university or into the wrold of work – let's see where Arold's next progression will take him to!

Carmen Emima Clipa   Carmen Emima Clipa,
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT

Carmen first came to BSix Brooke House Sixth Form College in 2013. She initially studied ESOL for one year, and within a short spell of time received her certificates with good grades in English. Afterwards, with the support offered by her tutor, she was motivated to make a step forward to her future and decided to study Information Technology (IT). The course in IT was the right choice for her as she found it fascinating and it motivated her to achieve some excellent grades at Level 2.

Having achieved good grades, gained new skills and knowledge about IT, Carmen was able to progress onto the advanced Level 3 IT Diploma in 2015. Due to her ability, perseverance, conscientiousness and passion for the subject she is now on course to achieve distinction grades in all the 18 units. Carmen surely represents well the BSix ethos of Aspire, Study and Achieve!
