This one year Foundation course is aimed at students who have just finished an A-Level Study Programme. You will need to have studied A-Level Art and Design or a related subject. The course will help you to strengthen your Art Portfolio with the aim to get into a high ranking Art College for your actual degree. Previous BSix alumni from this course have gone on to study at the University of the Arts London, Goldsmiths University and Ravensbourne.

The course is designed to encourage exploration, experimentation and risk-taking. You will explore Fine Art, sculpture & other 3-D practices (including architecture), graphics, fashion & textiles, photography and film before having the opportunity to specialise in your chosen discipline.

Why BSix?

BSix has dedicated art studios and facilities including Apple Mac suites, a photography studio and screen printing processes. You will be taught in small groups with 1:1 tutorial support and given your own work space.

Our staff are all industry professionals whose careers have included graphics, fashion, advertising, fine art, theatre and film. BSix also has strong links to galleries, studios and universities including Tate, UAL, Slade School of Art (UCL), Goldsmiths and London Metropolitan University.

If you have any questions please e-mail Katherine Webb Course Leader Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.
