Enrichment Clubs

A varied enrichment offer to cater for all

BSix serves an incredibly diverse community of students. Students come from a wide range of nationalities, ethnicities, religions, and cultural backgrounds. The college attempts to highlight this diversity and engage with it in a direct and celebratory manner. The BSeven team with the support of the Student Union is responsible for a year-long programme of cultural events and celebrations. These events are hosted in the canteen, and include performers, speakers, and academic talks and lectures.

In addition to these cultural celebrations, BSix offers a varied programme of extra-curricular clubs. There are 4 different pathways to choose from these are:

  • DOE (Duke of Edinburgh) Bronze/Silver awards

There will also be various fitness classes available such as: Yoga, Zumba and resilience through sports

You will have the opportunity to gain leadership training and qualifications through working with our partner organisations: Citizens UK, Team-Up, Peabody and Money A&E

Personal Development Pathway

Knowledge is power series:

Free from the pressures of examination, we offer a series of events, short courses and workshops to debate some of the major issues facing young people, the humanities, and wider society.   Our visiting poets, musicians, journalists and academics will bring new ideas, broader context and hidden histories to our understanding of the world and how together we might improve it.
