Media/Animation/Games Development Teacher - Full Time

We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher
to join our thriving Creative Arts team. This is a flexible post suited to candidates seeking part time or full time employment.

If keen to work at BSix, you should be a highly motivated individual with a range of Media, Animation and Digital Design skills. Experience of Games development is desired although not essential. You will be able to teach industry-relevant skills and knowledge to our eager students and be a tutor to one of the groups.

To be appointed, you will show yourself to be positive, resilient and eager to learn and develop our courses. You will also be able to demonstrate an adaptive and flexible teaching style to support and stretch a diverse range of students.

It is essential that our courses reflect industry practices, and you will be key in driving course development to ensure our curriculum remains relevant and meets contemporary industry needs.
You should also expect to provide prompt, accurate and detailed assessment of student work at key stages during the academic year.

You will have the full support of a high-quality team and regular opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Foundation Learning Hub Officer – BSix Sixth Form College

Individuals to join the Board of Governors

Bsix would like to attract suitably interested and motivated individuals to join its Board of Governors. Although open to approaches from people from all walks of life, we would welcome, in particular, those from accountancy, IT, or marketing background.

BSix has a very diverse student and staff body and it would be good to hear from prospective governors who would help make the Corporation membership more representative. Most important of all for prospective candidates is an affinity with the college`s mission, values, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Finance Governor

BSix College, a sixth-form college in Upper Clapton, London (E5 8BP) is looking to strengthen its Board of Governors; your involvement and contribution can help meet the needs of our communities, and your insight, experience, and ideas will widen our perspective. We seek people of all ages and cultural backgrounds with experience in business, community, or social work and, at present, particularly those with financial expertise. One of our valued and long-standing financial specialist Members will shortly come to the end of her commitment to the Corporation and we are urgently seeking her replacement, who will have relevant and current financial qualifications and experience and will be expected to participate directly and actively in one or more of the following;

  1. overseeing the management of financial, human, and physical resources;

 

  1. internal and external audit and risk management processes; and

 

  1. development of senior post holder pay policy and framework for the pay and conditions of service of all other staff.
