Foundation learning Courses Entry level/Level 1

These are designed for students who are unsure about their future work opportunities, and enables them to experience different subjects in applied areas before deciding on a career or educational pathway. We welcome students with no formal qualifications and varying learning needs who may require additional learning support to complete their studies. Central to the course are units designed to develop the personal and social skills of students including the three functional skills of English, Maths and ICT needed for successful entry to all careers. Assessment is by coursework and examination.

On completion of this course you will have a variety of progression pathways to choose from including the Level 1 applied Diplomas.
