Welcome to the Science and Maths Department

Do you have an inquisitive mind? Do you want to know how the world around you works? If so, then studying one of our Science courses at BSix is the right option for you. As well as A-level and GCSE options, we also offer level 2 and level 3 applied Science courses (BTEC).

These courses cover a wide range of scientific topics across Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Each element of the course is taught by subject specialists with a real emphasis on practical and project work. They give you an excellent understanding of both the underlying theory and the practical applications of Science – ideal for preparing you for both university and the world of work.

Many of our Applied Science students go on to study on excellent university courses including Pharmacy, Engineering, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Science, Oncology, Nursing, Radiography, Sports Science as well as to apprenticeships in the industry.

Dr Cassim Khan

“BSix made me who I am today. It turned a boy who only got 4 C-grades in his GCSEs to being in the top 10% in a year of 450 medical students at one of the UK's most prestigious universities, King's College London.
