Current Vacancies

Foreign Languages Teacher

BSIX is rightly proud of the ethnic mix and diverse heritage of its students. It offers a range of A levels in foreign languages for those of its students who are already proficient in those languages, which might be the language that they use at home on a regular basis.

The College is seeking an experienced teacher who would be able to provide teaching to A level standard in the following language:

· Bengali

The College is interested in offering new A levels in German, Polish and Russian.

The rate of pay ranges from £26.15 to £34.14 per hour (depending upon experience) for 4 hours at the College each Wednesday afternoon during term time. The 4 hours include time for preparation and marking. Your contact time (teaching or tutorials) during those hours would be up to a maximum of 3 hours. There may be some flexibility available with those hours.

Curriculum Manager: Maths

We require for September 2020 a Curriculum Manager for Mathematics to lead a team of six staff who provide mathematics teaching across a wide range of courses.  The person appointed will co-ordinate our strategy to promote numeracy across the curriculum and will also be a member of the college management team, contributing to all aspects of the decision-making process.

Patterns
CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)1st April 2020 Update

   

The college will be closed from Monday 30th March until Monday 20th April for all groups of students.
