As parents, we are also teachers of morals, values and attitudes to our children as they directly and indirectly pick up on these through our actions. However, parenting is not an easy job and it is very normal to feel stressed out or low as it can be very tiring. But we must make sure that we are looking after our own mental health first, so that we can be good parents to our children – the whole family benefits from the good mental health of the parents.
