This is a 2 year course equivalent to 3 A Levels and includes 9 weeks minimum working with an employer on an industry placement. This course prepares learners to work with children between birth and young people aged between birth and 19 years old and is suitable for anyone wanting a career in early years, primary, teaching and other related careers.
We offer one pathway: Early Years and Assisting Teaching. The Early Years pathway will give you a license to practice, enabling you to enter the workplace as a qualified Early Years Educator or manage an Early Years Setting. Successful completion of this course will also allow you to progress to university.
