Administration Officer (HR and Finance)

BSix is looking to recruit a well organised and self-motivated Administration Officer (HR and Finance).  The successful candidate will join a skilled and hard-working HR and Finance team, operating within a supportive and encouraging institutional culture.  Staff across the college share a strong commitment to its values and aspirations and are ambitious to build on significant recent improvements in student achievement and the wider quality of education we provide.

Administration Officer (HR and Finance)

To assist with the administration of the HR and Finance function.  Providing general administrative support to the College. The postholder is required to be flexible in their approach to work, with a positive & professional attitude, and will be expected to cover for colleagues when necessary. Duties and responsibilities but are not limited to, those outlined in this job description.

Salary from:                  Point 12 to 14 (£24,917 to £26,440) Plus London weighting (£4,343)

Individuals to join the Board of Governors

Bsix would like to attract suitably interested and motivated individuals to join its Board of Governors. Although open to approaches from people from all walks of life, we would welcome, in particular, those from accountancy, IT, or marketing background.

BSix has a very diverse student and staff body and it would be good to hear from prospective governors who would help make the Corporation membership more representative. Most important of all for prospective candidates is an affinity with the college`s mission, values, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Finance Governor

BSix College, a sixth-form college in Upper Clapton, London (E5 8BP) is looking to strengthen its Board of Governors; your involvement and contribution can help meet the needs of our communities, and your insight, experience, and ideas will widen our perspective. We seek people of all ages and cultural backgrounds with experience in business, community, or social work and, at present, particularly those with financial expertise. One of our valued and long-standing financial specialist Members will shortly come to the end of her commitment to the Corporation and we are urgently seeking her replacement, who will have relevant and current financial qualifications and experience and will be expected to participate directly and actively in one or more of the following;

  1. overseeing the management of financial, human, and physical resources;

 

  1. internal and external audit and risk management processes; and

 

  1. development of senior post holder pay policy and framework for the pay and conditions of service of all other staff.
