Mental wellbeing

Here, you will find some information on how to protect your mental health and ensure that your mental wellbeing is healthy so that you are able to study productively and in general, feel good about yourself and lead a happier life.

Be productive, stay healthy, and most importantly, Be Connected

BSix Sixth Form College believes that every student should be cared for, both physically and mentally. However, in the current climate of 2020 where racial tensions have been high and the effects of COVID-19 are still being felt, we believe that we need to pay closer attention to our mental wellbeing.

Our wellbeing page will act as a resource for all our students to provide you with skills and techniques which aim to improve your mental health not only in this climate but to last a lifetime.

In this section, you will find:

  • 5 ways to wellbeing – Techniques to improve your mental health.
  • Sleep hygiene
  • Counselling, Safeguarding and Enrichment
  • External Services
  • Smartphone apps which you can download to improve your wellbeing.
