Entry Level Work Skills

Entry level: Work Skills – duration 1 year

Entry Criteria:

No formal qualifications required. This course is specifically accessible for students with SEND support needs that can be evidenced with an EHCP or for students who have not been regularly able to access education.

This course combines a range of units that develop teamwork, volunteering, personal and employability skills through practical and academic tasks. You will be assessed through coursework.

• Work Skills in teamwork volunteering and CV writing
• Home cooking skills
• Pathway vocational studies in one of the following:
• Business
• Health Social and Childcare
• Media
• Travel and Tourism
• Science
• Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

Progression pathway:

Your planned progression pathway would be to a level 1 course at BSix or an external supported internship.
