Level 1 Business and IT

This course introduces you to the basics of ICT and Business Studies. You will learn how to use information systems using Microsoft office tools and learn introductory skills in developing a website. Over the course of the year, you will complete units in both business and IT which are internally assessed. You will also visit local and inner-city London businesses such as Broadgate Circle, Salesforce and KPMG.

Entry Criteria

For students working at Entry 3 level in English and Maths. Students will be predicted or have already achieved mostly Grade 2’s in their GCSEs.

These courses will allow you to progress to level 2 study in the vocational area of your choice. All courses have work related learning to allow you to discover insight to working in the sector you are studying. You will also study English and Maths at functional skills level one. You will develop your communication and employability skills within the tutorial and enrichment activities in your study programme. You will be assessed through coursework.
