BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services
This is a two year course designed to give students the opportunity to gain employment in an operational role, in an office-based role or in the uniformed public services.

Each unit is assessed through the completion of coursework tasks, using different methods of assessment. You will complete posters, leaflets and booklets, give presentations, prepare reports and take part in role plays.
Each unit has a set of deadlines for submission of completed tasks, these will be assessed and returned for correction by your teachers.
The course is the equivalent to 3 ‘A’ levels.
Progression
Students on the course progress onto University to study subjects such as Criminology, Law, Criminal Justice, Airline and Airport Management, social sciences, Policing studies, Fire and Rescue service Management.
A small minority of learners have changed specialism or gone into work.
Teachers
There are 2 full time teachers who teach on the course. Each member of the team has extensive industry and teaching experience.
